Nine to Five 04:41
alarm goes off around seven in the morning, I was dreaming about you and it came without warning. I know it's been awhile but you're always in my head, try to dreams about a new life but keep seeing you instead. roll out of bed, feel around and find my eyes, but it's still dark, today the sun just didn't want to rise. I guess you can't blame him, what's the point, another day? i don't know about the sun but to me they're all the same every morning's the same, I drag myself to the sink, got to feel sociable, get rid of the stink. it's the same old grind, gets me every time, where the hell am I going? is this really my life? 'cause the nine to five, just can't satisfy, I want to fight to survive sick of waiting in line. seems my body is wasted, no one cares for my mind, I can almost taste it, my soul is burning inside. all the people working harder and the cat gets fatter everyone wants to get higher but there's no room at the top. though we may be living longer our disease is getting worse, everyone up your purse and throw some money at the monster! it's like a bad movie that never seems to end, in fact it may never end spiral into an infinite descent. this is hell my friends this isn't pretend, stop pinching yourself, you're not lying in bed. this is life and it's as real as it gets.

sometimes I think I'm going crazy! I feel as though I'm not quite real. but the voice inside me says I'm high and mighty and I should steal it if I wanna feel. now I'm swerving down this winding road, and I'm starting on a slippery slope. soon my train of thought will crash into my screeching auto I can almost hear the tires squeal, wake me up when this is real, cause I've forgotten how to feel. sometimes I think I'm gonna lose my mind, break the hourglass and pour out the sands of time. someone press rewind I can't keep running down this line, but what the hell was I expecting to find? maybe some piece of mind. I've got pockets full of gold burning holes in all my clothes, the greatest fear I've ever known, I fear for every thing I stole. sometimes I think I'm going crazy, I feel as though I'm not quite real. but the voice inside me says, I'm high and mighty and I should steal it if I wanna feel. high and I'm mighty, I'm so high and I'm mighty.

Waves 04:16
the way I pace this plank, you'd think I can't swim. but really I'm just afraid, of getting caught in your wake again. it pulls me under, where I'm swirled by your waves. I'd give the world, to make my escape.

Nosilla 04:00
oh! nosilla! where you going where ya been? barefooted and messy-haired out wandering with your friends. you're all crazy eyed, and you're out of time, where'd you find yourself when you came down? c'mon nosilla! who are you growing up to be? talented and negligent, intelligent but ignorant. you've been painting your tongue green ever since you turned seventeen, when are you gonna finally wake up and see there's a fox standing there nibbling on your feet now! and when you finally found your way out, did you have the nerve to scream and shout? you think you've finally got it figured out, but you don't know what you're talking about. because it seems this angry thing is growling grinning through it's teeth. it wants your meat, it wants your bones to pick it's grin on the way home. you've got a long way to go when you're not even halfway home, 'cause you're stuck on the side of the road, just wanted to see how far you could go. face down on the ground, I can't believe that you don't hear the sound of the voice that's haunting me. get up! get up now! I don't believe that you can't hear the sound of the voice that's taunting me. can't you see? that you ain't free, and you may never be.

Reflections 06:14
there's ghosts in these walls, faces I havent seen in years. some call, some stare, some chill the air, i shut tight my eyes and cover my ears. in the darkness i find I can persevere. in this darkness I find each thought is sincere. I'd rather stay home and you forget me, I'd rather be alone than feel lonely, I'd rather stay home and you forget me! these memories are old reflections in a foggy mirror, where'd the time go? to hold on I fill spaces with explanations the likes of which you'll never hear. I will take these stories to my grave. they'll never see the light of day, the light of day. I know I've got the tools that I need, I've got plenty of tricks in my sleeves. I can finally do as I please. but to say goodbye seems kind of cold, taking me to places untold. this conversation really makes me feel old.

Jack 04:20
where'd you get that jack? did you lay him down flat? and pull it out fast, before you carried him back, right to your place? did you play it like a race? executed straight ace, with a grin on your face, and a finger out straight, cause you knew it was fate, ever since your birthdate, on October eighth? or are you just one dumb motherfucker? yeah yeah yeah I see you smile, like the green crocodile. your brain is filled with bile, and all sorts of lies. did I hear you sigh, walking down that aisle? right through your mind, to the back of your eyes, to peer out a while. what'd I expect to find? so paranoid! but that's alright, cause you're just one dumb motherfucker. yeah yeah yeah I appreciate the way you unite us in our hate, though eating at my conscience I know I'll be just fine. it's the only way that we can still relate. your presence is a dark and constant reminder. go ahead and waste away; I will not regret your time spent glued to that luminescent screen, just melting at your mind. I know that you are slipping, now it's time to hit replay. I don't mean everything I say, but I hope that you go blind.
